This course offers a deep and practical exploration of emotional well-being through the lens of Ayurveda. Moving beyond symptom-based understanding, it introduces the Ayurvedic view of the mind (Manas) as an integral part of health, shaped by the dynamic interplay of Guṇas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas) and Doṣas (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha).
Across five structured sessions, participants will:
Understand the foundations of the Ayurvedic psychology of the mind, including mental strength (Sattva-bala) and emotional regulation
Explore how individual constitution (Prakṛti) influences emotional tendencies, vulnerabilities, and resilience
Learn to identify personal emotional triggers and cultivate self-awareness through guided reflection
Discover daily practices (Dinacharya), diet, sleep, and sensory disciplines that support emotional balance
Gain insights into Ayurvedic approaches to stress and anxiety, including Sattvavajaya Chikitsa, herbs, and mind-oriented Panchakarma
Develop strategies to cultivate Sattva, enhance clarity, and build long-term emotional resilience through ethical living (Sadvṛtta) and lifestyle alignment
Aims of the Course
To present a holistic and individualised framework for understanding emotional health
To bridge classical Ayurvedic concepts with modern-day emotional challenges
To empower participants with practical tools for self-regulation, awareness, and resilience
To encourage a shift from reactive emotional patterns to conscious, balanced living.
This series is ideal for students, practitioners, and anyone interested in integrating Ayurvedic wisdom into everyday emotional well-being.
